Actualization

Actualization is a solo exhibition by Lains, exploring art making as a method of holding unconscious conversations with oneself. The images were all created alongside meditations, and many pertain to human emotion and experience. Each image captures a specific moment of reflection, as well as the emotions experienced throughout the conception of each piece. The show can be viewed anytime and is available in VR through the Alternative Gallery Space website.

Alternative Gallery Space is a virtual space for art created by Lainey Schwaner and Emily Vaughn. The gallery opened its first exhibitions in November of 2020 and expects to do more projects throughout 2021.
